Waist Beads

Waist beads are worn by women and girls of all ages. They are worn for many reasons, such as:

* Weight management, since the beads loosen or tighten according to loss or gain
* Maintaining and highlighting waist and figure
* A symbol of femininity and sensuality
* They make the wearer feel beautiful
* Enhancing romance, as men also find them beautiful as adornment

Our waist beads start at 30" and expand up to 60".  Our  African waist beads are beaded by hand and have a screw closure.  Our 54" Nzingha and 60" Nefertiti are adjustable and have a tie closure.  When selecting waist beads, measure your waist or the location where you want them to fall. Typically they are worn anywhere from the natural waist, above the navel or falling lower to above the hips.

*  Typically worn in bunches, layering from the smaller to the larger size
*  Can also be worn as adornment for the neck and ankle
